David Reid

David Reid is a seasoned radio documentary maker and presenter at BBC since August 2014, recognized for originating and producing the impactful project "CODA: I'm The Thumb In The Family." With a diverse background in visual journalism, Reid has contributed as a Reporter/VJ for BBC World TV's "Click" and as a producer for significant documentaries, including "Killing for Conservation," which highlighted the harsh realities faced by indigenous communities in India. Additional experience includes filming for the Obama Foundation, where Reid focused on youth activism in India, and serving as Director of Photography for BBC Innovators, showcasing inspiring social sector stories. With a career spanning over two decades, Reid has worked with multiple international organizations, including the UN and the Council of Europe, and holds advanced degrees in Humanities and International Relations from Manchester and Sussex.
