David Vargas is an experienced professional in the field of telecommunications and research, with a career spanning multiple esteemed institutions. David began as an R&D Engineer at Universitat Politècnica de València from December 2009 to October 2015 and later served as a Research Intern at BBC R&D in early 2015. Currently, David holds a leadership role as Chair of ETSI ISG MAT since January 2025, while also chairing the Content Distribution - Standards and Architectures Working Group for 5G-MAG since November 2022, previously chairing the Technology (CD-T) Working Group until November 2022.
