Declan Harvey is a journalist and Senior Lead News Presenter at BBC Newsline, as well as the host of The State of Us podcast. Previously, they presented Evening Extra on BBC Radio Ulster, the region's most listened-to drive-time radio news program. Declan is a two-time winner of the News Broadcaster of the Year award at the IMRO Irish Radio Industry Awards and has received numerous accolades, including Reporter of the Year and a nomination for National Radio Journalist of the Year. With a background in voice coaching and acting, Declan holds a BA (Hons) in Acting from Rose Bruford College, an MA in Theatre Practices from The University of Manchester, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from the University of the Arts London.
