Ed Longbottom

Ed Longbottom is a Senior MLOps Engineer currently working in the ML Enablement team at the BBC. They previously held roles at eliiza as a Machine Learning Engineer and at ScottishPower, where they established an MLOps service and led the implementation of cloud-based platforms for machine learning solutions. Ed began their career as a Graduate Software Intern at The University of Manchester and progressed through a graduate trainee role in Data and Analytics at ScottishPower. They earned a Bachelor's Degree in Physics and a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Technologies with distinction from the University of Manchester and the University of Glasgow, respectively.
