Elphas Lagat

Elphas Lagat is an experienced broadcast journalist with a robust background in multimedia reporting and content production. Lagat's career includes roles as Director of Devolution Documentaries at the Council of Governors and as a journalist at both Citizen Television and The Standard Group LTD. Lagat has developed extensive skills in video shooting, interviewing, scripting, and editing, bolstered by internships that provided foundational experience in reporting in both English and Kiswahili. Continuing professional development includes a Master's degree from Aga Khan University and a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Journalism from Moi University. Current engagement includes a position at BBC as a broadcast journalist.
