Emma Bradshaw

Emma Bradshaw is an experienced professional with a strong background in social media strategy and journalism, currently serving as a Planner at BBC since December 2013. Emma has held various roles at BBC, including Journalist for BBC Sport, Social Media Executive for both BBC and BBC One, Editorial Curator for BBC iPlayer, and Social Media Producer for BBC Two. Prior experience includes positions as Membership and Communications Officer and Events Officer for the UK Student Radio Association, where Emma managed social media output and coordinated the Student Radio Awards, and served as Digital Communications Manager for The Royal Household, overseeing social media strategy and content creation for royal family communications. Emma began a career as a Games Maker during the London 2012 Olympics, ensuring efficient transport for athletes. Academically, Emma holds a Ph.D. in Physics and an MSci in Physics with Astronomy from the University of Nottingham and is currently pursuing a postdoctoral position in Astronomy at the same institution.
