Emma Purchon

Emma Purchon has a strong background in strategy and leadership within the BBC, currently serving as the Executive Lead to the Chief Content Officer since December 2019. Prior roles at the BBC include Senior Strategy Manager, Strategy Manager, and Strategy Analyst for BBC News. Prior to these positions, Emma contributed as a Business Analyst on the Innovation team at BBC Monitoring. Emma's career began at BBC Worldwide, where responsibilities included roles as Account Manager, Account Executive, and Account Assistant from February 2013 to April 2018. Emma holds a BA in Combined Honours in History and Politics from Durham University, earned between 2009 and 2012.
