Emre Bal

Emre Bal is an experienced Broadcast Journalist currently managing BBC Turkish social media accounts since June 2007. Prior to this role, Emre served as World News Desk Editor at NTV from April 2002 to May 2007, where responsibilities included monitoring, translating, writing, and overseeing news production while liaising with correspondents worldwide. Earlier experience includes a similar position at Turkuvaz Media Digital from September 2001 to March 2002, focusing on news selection and editorial meetings. Emre holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Marmara University, completed in 2001, and obtained a high school diploma from Samsun Anatolian High School in 1996.
