Gary Slaymaker

Gary Slaymaker is an accomplished radio presenter and writer with extensive experience at the BBC since July 1989, hosting a variety of shows in both Welsh and English. In addition to radio, Gary served as a film reviewer for Western Mail from September 2003 to June 2009 and has been a stand-up comedian since the mid-90s, performing as a solo artist and with The Dragon Has Three Tongues, bringing a unique storytelling style and humor to audiences across Wales and the UK. As a freelance presenter for S4C since March 1990, Gary has showcased versatility in various media formats. Gary holds a BA in Communication Studies from Bangor Normal College, earned between 1982 and 1985.
