Gavin Spence is a seasoned product leader with extensive experience in growth, acquisition, and engagement across mobile, web, and wearable products. They began their career with several industrial placements, including time as an ISMM Consultant at CHK PLC and Cambridge Design Partnership, before moving into product management roles at TomTom, where they progressed from Junior Product Manager to Senior and then Product Manager. From 2019 to 2022, Gavin served as Senior Product Manager at BBC, leading the development of World Service experiences for 60 million weekly users. Currently, they hold the position of Executive Product Manager at BBC, focusing on the digital Elections service. Gavin earned a dual MEng in Product Design Engineering from the Glasgow School of Art and the University of Glasgow, and an MPhil in Industrial Systems, Manufacture and Management from the University of Cambridge.
