Gemma Hood

Gemma Hood is an accomplished producer in the broadcast industry, currently serving as a Producer at Media Zoo since November 2023 and an Edit Producer at BBC since November 2019, where responsibilities include producing as-live match highlights packages for BBC MOTD and MOTD2. Previous experience includes roles such as Shooting Assistant Producer at Ricochet TV Production, Assistant Producer at Pitch International on the award-nominated documentary “Mark Cavendish: Never Enough”, and various positions at Studio Something and Sunset+Vine, focusing on producing features and match highlights for sports broadcasts. Gemma Hood holds a Bachelor of Music with First Class Honours in Music Performance and Composition from the University of Glasgow, completed in 2014.
