Georgia Gill

Georgia Gill is an accomplished multimedia journalist and producer with extensive experience in broadcast journalism. Currently serving as a News Editor (ad hoc) at BBC since August 2022, Georgia has also worked as a Senior Multimedia Journalist and Freelance Radio Presenter. Since May 2001, Georgia has been a Freelance Senior Broadcast Journalist at Global, contributing to Heart, Capital, and Smooth by compiling, writing, editing, and presenting news. Highlights of Georgia's career include serving as Entertainment Editor for The Capital Network, conducting interviews with high-profile celebrities such as Tom Hanks and Angelina Jolie, and presenting various shows on London's Capital Radio. Georgia has also worked as a Freelance Entertainment Reporter at BBC's Radio 1 Newsbeat. Georgia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Media Studies from the University of Gloucestershire.
