Gurdip Bhangoo

Gurdip Bhangoo is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in leading training and development initiatives at the BBC since November 2014 as Head of Future Skills & Events for the BBC Academy. With a strong background as an Executive Producer, Bhangoo has shaped editorial and digital strategy and managed significant projects that include major factual series for CBBC. Prior to this, Bhangoo held leadership roles at Superfly Productions Ltd and Sony Entertainment Television, where notable achievements included relaunching a leading entertainment channel in India and delivering substantial content within stringent budgets. Bhangoo's career at the BBC began in 1996, encompassing various roles that led to the production of high-profile programming aimed at the Asian audience. Academic qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism and a BA in History from Leeds Trinity University.
