Helen Rabe

Helen Rabe currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at BBC since June 2022, overseeing global information security operations with an 8-figure budget and a team of 90. Previously, Rabe was the Global Chief Security Officer (CSO) at Abcam, where strategic alignment with business growth and risk mitigation were key responsibilities from June 2019 to June 2022. Prior experience includes CISO for EMEA at CBRE, where Rabe developed the ISMS strategy, and interim Head of Information Security at Costa Coffee, where a proactive security framework was established. Rabe began security career as a Security Project Lead at UBS, focusing on cloud and infrastructure security.
