Joanna Rowlands is currently the Lead Project Manager with the BBC Nations Team, embarking on a pivotal secondment during a transformative period for the BBC. Previously, Joanna served as the Deputy Managing Editor at BBC Wales News for three years and has over 20 years of experience as a senior journalist in television, radio, and online media. Joanna excelled in high-pressure environments, leading a team of journalists and managing significant projects, including the relocation of BBC Wales' HQ and the implementation of new newsroom models through the Journalism Review. Joanna holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from Cardiff University and a BA in French and History from the University of Southampton.
