Jody Ford

Jody Ford is Chief Executive Officer of Trainline, the UK’s leading independent rail and coach travel platform and a well-established British technology success that has served the rail industry for more than 25 years. As CEO, he has led Trainline’s growth to become Europe’s most downloaded rail app. Jody joined Trainline in September 2020, bringing deep experience in building and scaling consumer-facing digital and technology-led businesses across the UK, Europe and the United States. A British executive with significant leadership experience in the US, he has spent his career operating at the intersection of technology, data and customer experience, helping global organisations to transform, scale and enter new markets.

Prior to Trainline, Jody was CEO of Photobox Group, Europe’s leading personalisation business, home to brands including Moonpig and Photobox. Earlier in his career, he spent a decade at eBay, latterly based in California, where he led the company’s global Growth function. He has also held roles at Orange, McKinsey & Company and PwC.
