Joe Harland has extensive experience in the broadcasting industry, having worked at the BBC since June 1997 where Joe currently serves as Head Of Visual Radio. In this role, Joe is responsible for delivering video content across various platforms and leads a team focused on creating programming for YouTube, BBC iPlayer, and BBC TV. Prior to this, Joe held several positions including Executive Producer, Producer, and Assistant Producer for Radio 1, where the focus was on creating distinctive new music radio output. Joe's broadcasting career began at Gilmour Broadcasting as an Assistant Producer, contributing to projects for BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2, and British Airways. Educationally, Joe holds a Bachelor's degree in Design and Visual Communications from the University of Kent, complemented by studies in Communication & Image.
