John Harkins

John Harkins is an experienced media professional currently serving as Executive Editor for BBC Children’s since September 2012, where responsibilities include managing a creative production team and overseeing content strategy. Prior to this role, John was with Brilliant Trees Media Ltd as Creative Director/Executive Producer from September 2007 to September 2012, and spent over a decade at ITV in various production roles, including Series Producer and Producer. Early career experience includes a position as Broadcast Journalist at CFM Radio from July 1996 to May 1997.
