John Kenny

John Kenny is an experienced journalist and broadcaster with a career spanning several decades. Since January 1987, John has been with RTE Sport Ireland as a broadcaster, covering a diverse range of sports including music, football, Gaelic games, cricket, swimming, and motorsport, and serving as a soccer commentator for both radio and TV. In addition, John has been an occasional cricket commentator for BBC's Test Match Special since March 2007. Previous roles include working as a communications advisor for Bavaria City Racing Ireland and Brand Events Ireland, where John contributed to events and campaigns including Top Gear Ireland. John began a broadcasting career with Q102 in independent radio from November 1984 to December 1986. Education was completed at Terenure College in Dublin from 1974 to 1979.
