Josh Coventry

Josh Coventry is an experienced software engineering professional currently serving as Software Engineering Team Lead for Elections at BBC since April 2020, where technical leadership and line management responsibilities include overseeing high-profile electoral coverage. Previously, Josh led migration projects to modern cloud solutions and managed engineering teams for World Service News at BBC. Prior to BBC, Josh was Development and Integrations Manager at Airship, guiding product development and team management. Josh commenced a career in web design and IT consultancy, establishing a successful repair business for SMEs before serving as Managing Director and Software Consultant at Fastforward Software. Josh holds a BA (Hons) in Business Management and Information Management from The University of Sheffield.
