Katie Rutherford currently works at the BBC as a Partnerships & Business Development professional within Global Media Partnerships since March 2024. Additionally, Katie is a Community Member of colour & numbers, contributing to the development of a leading community for independent marketing and experience design specialists in the UK. Prior to these roles, Katie served as a Consultant for The Together Project from September 2023 to March 2024, and held various positions at News UK from September 2015 to July 2023, including Head of Strategic Partnerships & Business Development, Event Strategy & Planning Manager, and Planner. Earlier experience includes working as the Events and Marketing Manager at 3Fox International from January 2012 to September 2015, and as a Marketing Specialist at Ealing BID Company in late 2011. Katie holds a 2.1 BSc Hons degree in Marketing from Lancaster University.
