Kim McAllister

Kim McAllister is a seasoned communications consultant and freelance journalist with extensive experience in the media industry. Currently serving as a Senior Communications Consultant at Connect Communications and a Radio Presenter at BBC since March 2019, Kim has also held the position of Director at Impact Online from February 2010 until January 2020. Additionally, Kim has been a Council member of Hutchesons' Former Pupils Council since 2007 and worked as an Editor for Peebles Media Group from 2006 to February 2010, overseeing publications such as OS magazine and Packaging Scotland. Kim's journalism contributions include writing for notable Scottish media outlets such as The Herald, The Scotsman, The Times, and the BBC. Academic qualifications include a Post-graduate Diploma in Journalism Studies and a BA hons in French and Spanish, both from the University of Strathclyde.
