Luke Ferris

Luke Ferris is a seasoned professional in social media management with significant experience in the broadcasting and retail sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Social Media Lead for BBC Sounds and BBC Radio 4 since August 2017, Luke oversees a large team, managing various aspects of digital content, including podcasting and live events. Prior to this role, Luke spent over five years as a Social Media Coordinator at Fred Perry, where responsibilities included developing social media strategies, content creation, and collaborating with external agencies. Luke’s earlier experience encompasses managerial positions in retail, including Store Manager at H&M and Visual Merchandising Manager at East End Thrift Store. Luke holds a degree in English Language from London South Bank University and A-level qualifications in English Language, Media Studies, and Drama from High Pavement College Nottingham.
