Marissa Keating

Director

Marissa Keating is an experienced producer and director with a diverse portfolio in documentary filmmaking. Currently producing projects such as "The Flowers Stand Silently Witnessing," "Fitting," and "West Country" at the Scottish Documentary Institute since January 2021, Marissa also directs a short film titled "Between The Dog and The Wolf" for the BBC. A freelance professional since 2000, Marissa has collaborated with notable clients including The Guardian and BBC Storyville, producing content that spans various themes and formats. Previous roles include producer/editor at The Guardian, where work focused on UK food producers, and producing films for Save the Children UK that explored motherhood globally. Marissa holds a Bachelor's degree in Art History from UCL and has completed coursework at the London Film School.
