Mark Patrick

Mark Patrick currently serves as the Solution Lead for Broadcast Core at BBC, a role held since November 2013, where responsibilities include identifying requirements and shaping solutions across various broadcast infrastructure domains. Previously, Mark held the position of Lead Architect for Major Projects Infrastructure, focusing on the delivery of Live IP broadcast solutions for the Cardiff Central Square project, and served as a Senior Project Manager overseeing significant infrastructure projects. Prior experience includes ownership of Bromley Broadcast as a freelance Broadcast Engineer, a Senior Project Manager position at Pharos Communications, and multiple roles at BBC and BBC World Service, including Delivery Technologist and Technology Manager. Mark's career began as a Design Engineer at BBM Electronics. Mark earned a BEng in Electronic Engineering from the University of York and attended Tonbridge School.
