Matthew Gamble

Matthew Gamble has extensive experience in software and data engineering, primarily at the BBC since June 2015, where roles have included Engineering Team Lead, Principal Data Engineer, Software Engineering Team Lead, Principal Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and Data Architect. Prior to this, Matthew served as a Research Associate at the University of Manchester from March 2014 to May 2015, and held engineering positions at IBM and Transitive. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from The University of Manchester, obtained in 2014, as well as a Visiting Graduate Student position at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2011-2012, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science earned from The University of Manchester in 2007.
