Melanie Clegg has extensive experience in the media and consultancy sectors, currently serving as the Executive Lead to the BBC Group Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology and Product Officer since March 2014. Melanie has also held advisory roles within the Office of the Chairman and Director-General, as well as the Deputy Director-General at the BBC. Prior to this, Melanie worked as Operations and Events Manager at Takeout, a consultancy focused on innovative business solutions, and as Events Manager at The Glasshouse London, which supports entrepreneurs. Earlier experience includes a position as Marketing Assistant at MyPedals. Melanie holds an MSc in International Management specializing in Innovation and Entrepreneurship and a BA in Business Management, both from the University of Exeter.
