Michael Edwards

Michael Edwards has extensive experience in architecture and engineering within the media and broadcast sectors, currently serving as Lead Architect for Production Workflows, as well as in executive and senior roles at BBC since 2018. Prior to this, Michael held various engineering positions at PERFORM from 2007 to 2018, including Head of Post Engineering and Broadcast Platform Architect, where responsibilities included managing post-production facility designs and satellite teleport installations. Michael's earlier career involved IT management and multimedia support at Resolution Post Production, engaging in significant projects such as Big Brother and Comic Relief, along with foundational roles in internet research and network administration. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Digital and Technology Solutions from Aston University and degrees in Media Practice and Engineering from various institutions, underscoring a strong technical and creative background.
