Mike Cooney

Mike Cooney is a Principal Operations Engineer at the BBC, bringing over a decade of broadcast engineering experience that encompasses nearly all areas of the broadcast chain. In their current role, Mike manages a small team while actively contributing to operations and systems engineering, as well as overseeing service disruptions. They are pursuing a Master's in Professional Engineering at Aston University and have previously held various technical roles and a duty manager position at Iceland Foods. Mike's extensive experience includes work with Input Media and significant projects for notable clients, showcasing their expertise in operational and engineering functions.
