Nathan Joyce

Nathan Joyce is a highly experienced software engineer and technical lead with a strong background in developing and maintaining software solutions across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Software Engineering Team Lead at the BBC since August 2018, Nathan plays a pivotal role in the aggregated metadata platform, overseeing the design, specification, development, and delivery of key projects. Prior to this, Nathan contributed to the BBC analytics collection libraries, enhancing their functionality for various products. Experience spans roles at Principality Building Society, Confused.com, Legal & General, and Sport Wales, encompassing responsibilities from software development and project management to customer service and IT support. Nathan holds a degree in Network Management & Security from The University of Glamorgan.
