Nick Yeadon

Nick Yeadon is an experienced Lead R&D Engineer at the BBC, with a robust background in the broadcast media industry. They have developed expertise in areas such as Broadcast Engineering, VOD, and Metadata Standards, backed by a PhD focused on adaptive IP streaming. Previously, Nick served as a Research Associate at Lancaster University, where they worked on the 'Mobile Multimedia' project, and began their career at BT as a Visiting Researcher. During their time at the BBC, Nick contributed to various projects, enhancing broadcast and hybrid propositions and developing significant systems like the BBC's first digital Electronic Programme Guide.
