Peter Archer

Peter Archer is a senior leader at the intersection of AI, media, creativity, and technology, currently serving as the Director of Generative AI at the BBC. Archer has held notable positions including Director of Digital Strategy, Director of Corporate Strategy, and Head of Online and Technology Strategy at the BBC. Prior to these roles, Archer worked as a Senior Strategy Advisor at the Prime Minister's Strategy Unit and as a Policy Advisor in the Civil Service Fast Stream. Archer holds a BA in Modern History from the University of Oxford and a Graduate Diploma in Psychology with distinction from Oxford Brookes University.
