Peter Coulter

Peter Coulter is an accomplished journalist currently serving as the Assistant Editor for Good Morning Ulster at the BBC since November 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Spotlight Reporter and Senior Broadcast Journalist at BBC Northern Ireland, where contributions were made to various programs such as Good Morning Ulster and BBC Newsline. Coulter began the career journey as a Trainee Broadcast Journalist at BBC Radio Merseyside and has also held advisory roles for BBC initiatives, alongside diverse positions at the Grand Opera House in Belfast. Education was completed with a 1st Class Honours degree in Modern History and Drama from Queen's University Belfast, complemented by earlier qualifications from Ballymena Academy. In 2010, Coulter participated in the Washington Ireland Program, focusing on service and leadership development.
