Peter Wright is a Technical Programme Manager at the BBC since September 2009, overseeing broadcast technology projects including the establishment of dedicated channels and the relocation of BBC News roles. Prior roles include Lead Project Manager, where Peter led technology workstreams for major system replacements and building projects, and Project Manager, focusing on audio playout systems. Prior to rejoining the BBC in 2000, Peter gained experience at Siemens, delivering broadcast systems projects. An alumnus of The University of Manchester, Peter holds a B.Sc M.Eng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
