Phill Barron is a Software Engineer with extensive experience in developing robust cloud-based applications and editorial tools. From 2014 to 2022, Barron worked as a Senior Software Engineer at BBC, where they were part of the Media tools team, focusing on AV publishing solutions for iPlayer. Before that, they served as a PHP Developer at Mergermarket from 2012 to 2014, contributing to a Zend-based web application. Currently, Barron holds the position of Senior Full Stack Engineer at The Guardian, enhancing tooling for their journalism, and also serves as a Software Engineering Team Lead at BBC.
