Ravisankar Lingutla

Ravisankar Lingutla is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in broadcasting and journalism. Currently serving as a Senior Journalist at BBC since January 2023, Ravisankar previously held the position of Broadcast Journalist at the British Broadcasting Corporation from September 2017 to December 2022. Additionally, Ravisankar contributed as the Editorial Lead for the BBC's 'Beyond Fake News' project in the Telugu-speaking regions during a brief tenure with BBC World Service in 2018. Ravisankar's career began at Eenadu Telugu Daily, where a role as Senior Sub-editor was held from November 2005 to August 2017. Ravisankar's educational background includes a degree in Essential Broadcast Journalism from BBC Academy, a Post Graduate degree in Journalism and Public Relations from Osmania University, and a PG Diploma in Journalism from Eenadu Journalism School. Additionally, Ravisankar holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Silver Jubilee Government Residential Degree College in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh.
