Richard Gray

Richard Gray is an experienced journalist and editor with a strong background in science reporting. Gray has been with BBC since September 2018, holding positions such as Editor, Deputy Editor, and Senior Journalist. Prior to this, Gray worked as a Freelance Science Journalist from September 2014 to August 2020 and served as a Science Writer at MailOnline from November 2014 to October 2016. Earlier experience includes roles at Telegraph Media Group as Deputy News Editor and Science Correspondent, as well as Health and Science Correspondent at Scotland on Sunday. Gray began a career in journalism at the Daily Mirror and Newsflash, where skills in general and science reporting were developed. Richard Gray earned a BSc in Biochemistry from The University of Edinburgh between 1997 and 2001.
