Richard Platt

Richard Platt is an accomplished director and educator with extensive experience in the film and television industry. Currently serving as a Course Tutor for MA directing at The Metropolitan Film School and a Director for both ITV Studios and BBC, Richard has a diverse portfolio that includes freelance directing for EastEnders and producing short films addressing socio-political issues. As Managing Director at Front Row Music and Senior Managing Director at FIDLER MUSIC LIMITED, Richard focuses on providing music education to primary school children. Additionally, Richard's work as Director/Producer at Browndog Films Ltd. encompasses script and story development. Richard holds an Experiential MA in Classical Theatre training for Actors from the Bristol Old Vic and has continued to strengthen skills through various directing roles across different platforms since 2012.
