Rob Alcock

Rob Alcock is the Senior Head of Learning & Development at the BBC, where they define and lead the implementation of the organization’s Learning & Development strategy. Previously, Rob held various leadership positions at the BBC Academy, including Managing Editor and Acting Director, where they managed a substantial multi-million-pound budget and oversaw training initiatives for the wider media industry. Rob's early career at the BBC included roles such as Head of Partnership Management and Head of Training, where they focused on enhancing industry training and representation. Rob holds several advanced degrees, including an MSc in Organisation Development and a Postgraduate Certificate in Conflict Resolution and Mediation.
