Roua Alazzawi

Roua Alazzawi is a versatile creative professional with extensive experience in writing, editing, and directing across various platforms. Beginning a career as an editor in freelance roles from 2007 to 2010, Roua gained recognition for video content shared on social media. Subsequently, work as a scriptwriter for Arab Arab Telemedia, a writer for Sesame Street in Communities, and a video editor for the BBC showcases the ability to craft engaging narratives and visually compelling content. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming from Altatbiqya University, a Master's degree in Fine Art (Directing, Editing) from the Red Sea of Cinematic Art, and a Fellowship in Writing - Directing from Leeds Beckett University. Roua has also contributed as teaching staff and has participated in mentorship programs to further the skills of emerging filmmakers.
