Sam Kavanagh

Sam Kavanagh is a Principal Software Engineer specializing in mobile development at BBC since July 2018, with experience as a Senior Software Engineer focused on Android and iOS libraries for various BBC applications. Previously, Sam worked at JUST EAT from December 2015 to July 2018 as a Senior Test Automation Engineer, engaging in automated UI testing and exploratory testing within SCRUM/Kanban teams, and as a Test Automation Engineer. Earlier experience includes a role as Test Lead at Experian Data Quality UK from January 2007 to December 2015, overseeing automated and manual testing of CRM software. Sam Kavanagh holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Exeter, completed in 2006.
