Samira Ahmed is an accomplished broadcaster and journalist with extensive experience in radio and television. Since July 2011, Ahmed has been a staff and freelance broadcaster/presenter at the BBC, hosting programmes such as Front Row on BBC Radio 4 and multiple shows on BBC TV including Newswatch and Art of Persia. Ahmed previously worked at ITN as a presenter/reporter for Channel 4 News, earning the 2009 Stonewall Broadcast of the Year award, and held various roles across prominent news organizations including BBC News and Deutsche Welle TV.
