Sara Palmer

Sara Palmer has extensive experience in broadcasting and journalism, currently serving as a radio producer, news reader, and reporter at BBC Northampton since February 2016. In addition to this role, Sara has been a news producer and podcast host for Talking Round North Cyprus since February 2021, focusing on narratives connected to the Turkish Republic of North Cyprus. Previously, Sara worked as a radio presenter, producer, reporter, and news reader at BBC Leicester since October 2018 and was a presenter at BBC Radio Jersey from June 2006 to October 2015. Earlier in her career, Sara coordinated a major fundraising campaign for Hospice Isle of Man and held various diplomatic roles at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office from July 1983 to February 1996. Sara's education includes attending St Albans Girls' School from 1976 to 1983.
