Scott Currie

Producer

Scott Currie is an experienced producer at BBC Scotland, with tenure beginning in September 2012. Currie oversees editorial content within BBC Scotland's TV Sport division, specializing in weekly football programming and producing live match coverage as well as highlights and discussion shows. Prior roles include Digital Broadcast Journalist, where Currie engaged younger and diverse audiences through digital sports content, and Assistant Producer, responsible for creating and editing feature video content. Previous experience as a researcher for BBC Get Inspired involved producing short-form media to promote physical activity, and an initial role as a production apprentice provided broad insights across multiple BBC Scotland departments. Prior to the BBC, Currie gained valuable customer service skills as a Catering Assistant at the National Trust for Scotland. Currie's education includes studies at John Wheatley College and Kyle Academy.
