Sherleen Mwaura

Sherleen Mwaura has extensive experience in the music industry, participating in various roles that enhance professional development and promote emerging artists. Currently a GRAMMY U member at The Recording Academy since October 2024, Sherleen attends exclusive networking events and builds mentor relationships. As a PLUG-IN mentee with °1824 - Universal Music Group, Sherleen received personalized mentorship to refine career goals. Serving as a College Marketing Representative for Arista Records since August 2025, Sherleen promotes artist releases through social media and campus outreach. Additionally, Sherleen is a Campus Ambassador at UT Natalie L. Haslam College of Music, leading tours and showcasing the college to prospective students. As a Co-Host for BBC Introducing in America, Sherleen highlights emerging Tennessee artists. Other roles include being a Resident Assistant at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, a Brand Ambassador for Hollister Co., and a mentee with Live Out L!ve, further supporting underrepresented voices in live music. Sherleen is pursuing a degree at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, expected to graduate in 2026.
