Simon Richardson

Simon Richardson serves as Co-Chair and Trustee Director at Spread the Word, where efforts focus on supporting diverse writers in London. With extensive experience at the BBC as a Producer since 2012, Simon has commissioned and edited works from notable authors. Previous roles include Trustee Director at New Writing South, Manager of Literary Prizes at Booktrust, and Centre for New Writing Administrator at The University of Manchester. Simon's career also includes managing events for the Manchester Literature Festival and serving as Trustee Director for the UK Youth Parliament. Educational achievements include a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature from The University of Manchester.
