Simon Starr

Simon Starr has extensive experience in media operations and editing, primarily with ITV since September 1996, working on high-profile productions such as Celebrity Big Brother, Love Island, and various sports events. In addition to ITV, Simon has contributed to multiple projects at the BBC since 2008, specializing in EVS editing and playback for live broadcasts. Other roles include EVS editing for the Tokyo Olympics, media management for Channel 5 and ITV with Red Bee Media, and various positions at NEP, Ericsson, Deluxe Entertainment Services Group, and Discovery Communications, focusing on media management, ingest workflows, and content preparation across multiple platforms. Simon holds education from the Institute of Higher Education Southampton and St George RC Southampton.
