Siobhan Allen

Siobhan Allen is a Senior Lawyer in Litigation at the BBC, having joined in 2024. Prior to this, Siobhan worked as a Senior Lawyer and Consultant Solicitor at the Global Legal Action Network from 2020 to 2024, focusing on transnational legal actions related to human rights violations. Siobhan's previous roles include serving as a Legal Officer at the Media Legal Defence Initiative and as RSD Coordinator at St. Andrew's Refugee Services, where they led the Refugee Status Determination practice. Siobhan started their legal career as an Associate at Slaughter and May from 2011 to 2017 after earning a Bachelor of Laws from Trinity College Dublin in 2007.
