Sofia Popova

Sofia Popova is a Junior Researcher at the BBC since March 2023, where research skills and media knowledge support a nationally recognized radio show. As a Contributing Writer for Telegraph BG since November 2021, Sofia covers diverse feature articles for a leading Bulgarian newspaper, ensuring content accuracy for a wide readership. Previously, as Social Media Editor and Contributing Writer for The Cardiff Tab from February 2022 to June 2023, Sofia shaped online presence and engaged audiences by managing a team and crafting articles on student life. A brief role as Promotion Assistant at Cardiff University Students' Union involved promoting events and direct student interaction. Sofia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media, Journalism, and Culture from Cardiff University, alongside a High School Diploma in Foreign Languages and Literatures from the 31st High School with Foreign Languages and Mathematics.
