Stephen Coates

Stephen Coates is an accomplished curator, producer, writer, and broadcaster with extensive experience across various cultural and artistic domains. Currently serving as a curator and producer at Antique Beat since January 2010, Stephen co-curates events such as Salon or the City and the London Month of the Dead festival. As a broadcaster for Soho Radio since January 2018, Stephen hosts the Bureau of Lost Culture show. In addition, roles at the BBC include writer and presenter for notable documentaries such as 'Ready to Transmit' and 'Bone Music.' Other significant contributions include being a writer and producer for X-Ray Audio, a musician with The Real Tuesday Weld, and serving as director at UNIVERSAL HALL. Stephen's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Design and Applied Arts from the Royal College of Art.
